Vyacheslav Akhunov: Short Film on NOWNESS

One of the key figures of Central Asian conceptual art, Akhunov explores ideas of spirituality, memory, and transformation across painting, drawing, video, and installation. His work often engages with language and mantras as tools for reflection and creative inquiry.
Produced by the Centre for Contemporary Arts Tashkent (CCA Tashkent) and the Uzbekistan Art and Culture Development Foundation (ACDF), the film captures Akhunov’s artistic process in the framework of his exhibition Instruments of the Mind, and his ongoing exploration of art as a form of thought and presence.
